It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Feaster Barkley (Eden, Maryland), born in Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on December 26, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lemuel Feaster, Sr. and Nannie Cammon Feaster; her husband Marion M. Barkley, Sr.; her children, Patricia Starks, Robin G. Wright (Wilson), Marion M. Barkley, Jr., Laval "Scooter" Barkley, Sr. (Delema) and Brett Barkley, Sr.; her sisters, Martha Freeman (Robert), Nannie Long and Audrey F. Hines (Howard); her siblings-in-law, Lillie Mae Johnson, Alvita Davis, Frances Burke and Curtis Johnson; her friends, Carolyn and Clarence Hudson; and her brothers, James Feaster, David Feaster, Laval Feaster and Michael Feaster. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
