He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Joseph Brown and Helen Edna Pruitt Brown; his brothers, Raymond Lee Brown and Clarence "Bunky" Edward Brown; and his sister-in-law Claudia Phippin.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Phippin Brown; his children, Roger Brown (Glimmer) of Eden, Pam Lewis (Bill) of Parsonsburg, Cheryl Morris of Salisbury and Glenn Brown (Betty) of Salisbury; and his brother Elmer Brown (Linda). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Calvary Baptist Tabernacle or Coastal Hospice.
