Davis of Eden, Maryland, born in Allen, Maryland, who passed away on December 12, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernie Barkley and Pearline Polk Barkley; her husband Peter Davis, Sr.; her children, Arlene Davis and Peter Davis, Jr.; and her siblings, Cleo Edwards, Frances Burke, Robert Polk, Roscoe Barkley, Lawrence Dorman, LaCurtis Barkley, Theodore Barkley, Marion Barkley and Charles Barkley.
She is survived by: her children, Janis Y. Sanders, Linette A. Rogers (Larry), Martha Ross, Francine Thompson (Derrick), Carol B. Johnson (Anthony), Teresa F. Foster (Michael), Matilda A. Tull, Gary R. Davis (Marcia), Karenna P. Jones (Kenneth), Kent A. Davis (Ruby Brown), Bernie I. Davis (Renee), Brice A. Davis, Sr. (Tonya), Jerel S. Davis, Sr. (Melissa), Byron Davis, Sr. (Corie) and Rufus I. Davis (Suzette); and her sister Lillie Johnson. She is also survived by 64 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
