He was predeceased by: his mother Viola Johnson. He is survived by: his sister Catherine King; his brother-in-law Terris King; his nephew Terris King II; his niece Reverend Miya King-Ridenhour; his great-nephews, Chase King and Christopher Ridenhour; his great-niece Rhian Ridenhour; and his cousin Darlene Chester (Josephine Brice). He is also survived by other cousins and friends.
