He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wagner and Helen Wagner (Alexander); his sons, Robert Alexander Wagner Jr. and Ward McLean Wagner; and his brothers, William Wagner and John Wagner.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Wagner (Moylan); his children, Ashley Elizabeth Penater (Matthew) and Andrew Robert Wagner; his grandchildren, Iris Penater, Alexander Penater, Elizabeth Carol Wagner and Robert Alexander Wagner III; his great grandchildren, Robert Alexander Wagner IV, Lilith Wagner and Kellin McFalls; and his sister Mary Helen Livezey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and adoring friends.
