He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ali Akbar Derakshani and Neyer Azam Fakre; his wife Simone; his children, Philippe Derakshani of Easton, MD, Nathalie Derakshani (Kevin White) of Easton, MD, Pascale Bernasse (Pierre) of St. Michaels, MD and Claudine Derakshani (Kevin Knowles) of Ashburn, VA; his grandchildren, Luc Bernasse, Nina Bernasse and Liam Knowles; and his siblings, Anush, Moni, Shidan and Bahman.
