He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Sullivan (Atherton) and Ray Sullivan. He is survived by: his wife Monica Bluth; his children, Denise Sullivan, Paul Sullivan (Betsy Garrett) of London, England and Frances Sullivan Lewis (David) of Moorestown; his grandchildren, Kevin Pernick (Ashley), Julia Pernick Lubock (Nathan), Benjamin Sullivan, Daniel Sullivan, Timothy Sullivan, Jonathan Lewis, Claudia Lewis and Emily Lewis; and also Mira Pernick.

To honor John's long and loving life, the family suggests a memorial contribution in his name to the Alzheimer's Association.
