He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley Ayers and Irma Ayers. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Susan Ayers of Bath, ME and Andrew Ayers (Julie) of Waterville, ME; his stepchildren, Michael Diseati and Jennifer Kashurba (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Conrad Ayers, Emme Ayers, Ehren Kashurba, Matilda Kashurba and William "Frantz" Rodenhauser.
