She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Schlechte and Dorothea Schlechte; and her brother Thomas Schlechte. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Morris MD; her son Jonathan Morris (Jessica); her grandchildren, Walter and Lucy Morris; and her brother John Schlechte (Konnie).

Memorial Donations may be made in her honor to the Talbot County Humane Society.
