He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth R. Gauen and Cleo Martin Gauen; and his great great grandchild Gracyn White. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Smith Gauen; his children, Kenneth Gauen (Dara) and Bonnie Jo Powell (Kenny); his grandchildren, Crystal Gauen Biel (Scott), Kenneth Powell, Jr. (Katie), Courtney Hults (Eddie), Karen Silbereisen and Andrew Silbereisen (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Kenneth Powell III, Sasha Biel, Duke Biel, MacKenzie Powell, Alex Andrews, Emmett Hults, Alex Fuller, Kayley Fuller, Austin Silbereisen and Dylan White; his brother Barry Gauen (Kathy); and his niece Debbie Beers (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
