It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Louise Mitchell of East New Market, Maryland, who passed away on June 28, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William W. Handley and Susie W. Handley; her husband Raymond E. Mitchell; her siblings, Anna Mae Outten, William "Bill", Jr., David, Sr. and Paul Handley; and her son R. Stephen Mitchell.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Nelson (Allen); her granddaughters, Sheri Aybar (Victor) of Manchester, Lisa Kumpar (Paul) of Westminster and Bobbie Jo Shorter of Cambridge; her great grandchildren, Paul Allen, Ryan Kumpar (Mackenzie), Joshua Jeremiah (Emma), Judah Aybar and Mitchell Shorter; her great great grandchild Olimpia Louise; and her brother Carroll C. Handley (Joann). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
