It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laura Thompson of East New Market, Maryland, who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Jackson and Alvina Diskau Jackson; her former husband Walter R. Burton, Jr.; her husband Edward Yates Thompson; and her siblings, Dorthea Dukes, Lucille Brittingham, Leonard Jackson and Edward C. Jackson.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Aaron; her nieces and nephews, Nancy Jackson, Albert Jackson, Charles Jackson (Betsy), Anna Wingate, Ed Drake (Janice), Donna Phillips (Al) and Debra Kelly (Terry); her son-in-law Billy Aaron; and also, Jax and Penny Fitzhugh.
