We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2023, at the age of 79, Maxine Meredith Purfield of Earleville, Maryland, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Michael Stevens; and her son Leonard Purfield. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence W. Purfield, Jr.; her sons, Lawrence W. Purfield, III (Jean) and Matthew Purfield, Sr. (Lara); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Purfield, Brooke Metra (Stephen), Crystal Purfield, Matthew Purfield, Jr., Dillon Purfield, James Franks and Ty Franks; her great grandchildren, Bentley Purfield, London Purfield, Blake Metra, Holly Metra, Chase Metra and Leonora Franks; and her brothers, Michael Stevens and William Stevens.
