He is survived by: his wife Bessy Ann Paimpalil; his children, Asha Elizabeth O'Dell (Michael), Mathew Simon Paimpalil (Jana) and Ashley Maryann Cardnuto (Christian); his grandchildren, Olivia, Sophie O'Dell, Isabel, Taj Paimpalil, Mila and Luca Cardnuto; his mother Elizabeth Thomas Paimpalil; and his brother Thomas Paimpalil.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (8816 Chesapeake Ave, North Beach, MD 20714).
In lieu of flowers donations in Simon's name can be made to the St. Anthony's Ladies of Charity of North Beach.
