We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2025, at the age of 84, Ruth Marie Barbehenn of Dunkirk, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Meade, Sr. and Marguerite Kathleen Barbehenn (Myers); and her sister June Whittington of Dunkirk. She is survived by: her pet Shadow; her son Steven; her daughter-in-law Marietta Barbehenn (Miller); her grandchildren, Luke of Derwood, Claire of Derwood and Paul of Derwood; her siblings, George Barbehenn, Jr. of Ellicott City, Vera Hall of Prince Frederick and Carol Hill of Dunkirk; and her niece Katie Hill.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home-Owings (8325 Mt Harmony Ln, Owings, MD 20736). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
