Russell Andrew Garner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Andrew Garner of Dunkirk, Maryland, born in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, who passed away on December 12, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Tayman Garner and James Roy Garner; his former wife Janice Ashberger Garner; and his siblings, Adeline Sasscer, Margaret Walsh, Jane Saunders, James Garner Jr. and Henry Garner.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryle Crissman Garner of Dunkirk, MD; his children, Russell Garner, Jr. of Tallahassee, FL, Rebecca Ritchie (Randy) of Redding, CA and Christina Bellinger (Jeremy) of Charlotte, NC; his stepson Brian Crissman of Prince Frederick, MD; and his sister Florence Hugel of Stevensonville, MD.. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for all donations to be sent to St. Joseph's Indian School, P.O. Box 326 Chamberlain, SD 57326 a charity that Russell loved supporting.
