Ronald Joseph Furr Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2022, at the age of 86, Ronald Joseph Furr of Dunkirk, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Furr and Annie May Furr (Luskey); his sister Anne E. Vallerie; and his friends, Harold, Nancy Ursitti, Frank and Libby Biggs.
He is survived by: his brother Frank Biggs; his wife Rebecca S. Furr; his daughter Antoni F. Hanlon-Chan (David Chan); his grandchildren, Madison E. Hanlon, Zachary J. Hanlon and Michael G. Chan; his sister Joann Lopez; his cousin Gary Furr; his niece Lynn Ursitti McGirr (Brian); and his friend Donovan Foster.
Because higher education was vitally important to Ronnie, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to his grandchildren's college fund, which he personally began years ago.
