It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Odella McDonald (Dunkirk, Maryland), born in Hemingway, South Carolina, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Odella leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Pringle and Elvira Pringle; and her children, Margiretti McDonald and Stacy McDonald. She is survived by: her husband Johnny McDonald; her children, Vanessa Weddington, Vincent McDonald (Katherine) and John Eric McDonald (Monica); and her sister Theresa Briggs. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
