She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Preston Mason and Elsie Lou Haught Mason of Suitland, MD; and her brother Wayne Lee Mason, Sr. of Stevensville, MD.. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Smith Thorne of Dunkirk, MD; her daughters, Karen Dianne Boyd (Douglas) of Lothian, MD and Sharon Kaye Thorne-Sulima (James Sulima) of Churchton, MD; and her grandsons, Nicholas Sebastian Boyd and Cameron Preston Boyd of Lothian, MD..
