She was predeceased by: her parents, James Tile and Sophie Tile; and her son Keith Work. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" E. Doss, Jr.; her children, Kevin Work (Jeanne) and Karen Fowler; and her stepchildren, Ron Doss (Patti) and Katie Ussery (Gary).

Memorial donations can be made to Dunkirk Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
