He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lee Scott Larson and Ann Larson; his wife Julie; his sister Katherine Gotsis; his children, Scott Larson (Valentina), Brooke Rathmell (Matthew) and Brandon Larson (Rebekah); and his grandchildren, Benedict, Oliver, Lincoln, Luella, Emma and Rome.

In appreciation of the dedicated work and assistance provided by Christmas in April, John's family asks that donations in his memory be made to that organization.
