He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert V. Kehring and Cecilia H. Kehring; and his brother Robert Kehring. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Kehring; his children, Lisa G. Krug (James E. Krug Sr.) and Vernon J. Kehring, Jr. (Wanda S. Kehring); his grandchildren, James E. Krug, Jr., Jeremy M. Kehring (Macie E. Ryan), Kaitlyn C. Krug and Samantha S. Kehring (Russell E. Sprague); his great grandchild Braxten R. Sprague; and his siblings, Anna Ludwig and William Kehring.
