With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Hughes of Dundalk, Maryland, who passed away on January 8, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Stephen leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Stephen may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Fredericka Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Jr., Frederick and Kathy (Madden); and his grandchildren, Kimberly Hock, Frederick Jr., Stephen III, Bryan, Nicholas Madden, Bethany Madden and Samuel Madden. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk (7110 Sollers Point Rd, Dundalk, MD 21222). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oak Lawn Cemetery (7225 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224).
