He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Hilt; his siblings, Mary, Robert, Clifford, Thomas, David and James; and his parents, Elwood Hilt and Lucy Hilt.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven Hilt (Sheree Brady) and Michael Hilt; and his brother Earl Hilt.
