She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wurzbacher and Helen Wurzbacher; her daughter Laura E. Ames; and her brothers, Warren and Robert Wurzbacher.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth B. Ames; her children, John "Jack" K. Ames, Sharon J. Bechtel (Rick) and Susan N. Ciampaglio (Anthony); her grandchildren, Mark Ciampaglio, Lisa Carter, Caitlin Bechtel and Kristen Bradley; and her great grandchildren, A. J. Ciampaglio, Luca Ciampaglio, Ellia Carter and Cayden Carter.
