He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Lefty" Amann and Evelyn McHale Amann. He is survived by: his wife Luisa Masucci Amann; his children, Elizabeth Hall (Hank) and Robert Amann (Jennifer); and his siblings, Edna Patricia Amann Shedleski and Joseph Amann. He is also survived by niece and three nephews, and true friend.

“We're so very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. He was a great friend with a wonderful sense of humor and will be missed very much. He liked gardening- and he was always talkative. He was funniest when he was on the prowl for "wabbits", cautioning me, with his Elmer Fudd impression to be very quiet! We knew him since Saint Rita's Renew program back in the 90's.
