She was predeceased by: her husband Lester Squires. She is survived by: her children, Tommy Squires (Rustymae), Ginger Gensicki and Chip Squires (Joy); her grandchildren, Tabatha DiRubio, Scott Gensicki, Justin Gensicki, Alex Squires, Justin Gilbert, Adam Squires and Matthew Squires; and her siblings, Loreen Howell, Diane Ross, Bobby Greggs and Jimmy Greggs.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Kathryn's name be made to Carolina Blood and Cancer Care, 1583 Healthcarre Drive, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
