Joseph Burruss Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Burruss of Dundalk, Maryland, who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burruss and Virginia Burruss; his wife Lorraine Burruss; and his siblings, Randolph Burruss, Tommy Burruss, Lawrence Burruss, Robert Burruss, Russell Burruss, Sue Gordon, Ruby Gallalee, Dorothy Anthony, Ruth Austin and Sally Gallion.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Frate (Donato), Joseph Burruss Jr. (Mary Louise), Regina Howard (Thomas) and Genny Bamburg (Charles); his grandchildren, Albert Ford, Melissa Meadows, Matthew Howard, Ryan Howard, Trinity Bamburg and Joseph Bamburg; and his siblings, Jean Hoover, Joyce Walton and Nancy Snow. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk (7110 Sollers Point Rd, Dundalk, MD 21222). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Hill Memorial Gardens (10201 Bird River Rd, Baltimore, MD 21220).
