He was predeceased by: his wife Emma West; his son Robert West; his granddaughter Melissa West; and his brothers, Howard and Paul West.
He is survived by: his niece Michele Bayes; and his siblings, Robert West, Lynn Carroll, Phillip West and Robin Fields.
