He was predeceased by: his daughter Cindy Jewel Perkins; and his siblings, Berkley Perkins, Curtis Perkins, David Perkins, Eugene Perkins, Charlie Perkins, Eva Hammock and Evelyn Farmer.

He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ann Perkins; his son William Steven Perkins (Hope); his grandchildren, Holland and Logan Perkins; and his brother Johnny Perkins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
