She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Merritt and Anna Merritt; her husband Charles Adam Neukam; her daughter Susan Lee Marr; and her siblings, Clay Merritt, Florence Gill, Norman Merritt, Vernon Merritt, Herbert Merritt, Robert Merritt, Leroy Merritt, Melvin Merritt, Bernice Myers, Thelma Grimes and Beverly Roane.

She is survived by: her children, Joseph Michael Neukam (Audrey) and Nancy Ellen Neukam; her siblings, Patricia Anuszewski, Jean Barth, Chris Merritt and George Merritt; and her brothers-in-law, Paul Neukam and Franklin Neukam (Ursula). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, multiple nieces, and nephews.
