He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Charlotte E. Finnessy; his children, Dawn M. Battista, John C. Finnessy (Jenny) and Bryan E. Finnessy; his grandchildren, Miriam Lessel (Mark), Stacey Sudduth (Billy), Heather Gassett, Jonathan Battista (Tegan Jackson), Ben Battista, Evan Finnessy, Jessica Battista, Megan Finnessy and Martin Murray; and his great grandchildren, Sarah Grace, Bella Joy, Hannah Faith, Jeremiah Benjamin, Joshua Samuel, Josiah David Sudduth, Grayson Declan Gassett and Alexandra Schneider.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk (7922 Wise Ave, Dundalk, MD 21222). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
