He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Edwards and Luther Dent Edwards, Sr.; his wife Mary Edwards; and his brother Philip Edwards (Tommy Edwards). He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Edwards of St. George's Island, MD and Keith Edwards of Fairfax, VA; and his siblings, Virginia Cruse of Waldorf, MD, Lola Seidl of Vienna, VA, Shirley Rusell of Tall Timbers, MD, Sandra Donaldson of Great Mills, MD, Carl Edwards of Park Hall, MD and Ronnie Edwards of Great Mills, MD. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
