She is survived by: her daughter Cherie Mason (Cornell); her granddaughters, Cierra Culp-Mason, Jhamiyia Pleasant and Niche Poindexter; her sisters, Marguerite Hill (late Benny) and Betty Jones (Walter "Bud"); her nephew Brian Jones (Maria); her great-nieces, Mia Jones, Bria Jones and Janay McCants; her cousin Lindsey "Buddy" Green; and her goddaughter Simone Haskins.
