He is survived by: his wife Gracie Lee Wilson; his children, La'Shondrey Robinson, Robert Earl Wilson Jr., Tonya Renee Wilson-Luttrell (Ramon), Roland Wilson (Andrene) and Rolanda Wilson; and his siblings, Douglas Wilson, Ellie Golden, Vivian D. Denson, Claretha Bell (James), Christine Jones (Carlton), Geraldine "Gerri" Carter and Gwendolyn Stanley. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.
