He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Boyd and Lillie Boyd; his daughter Tashia Solis; and his siblings, Adam Tyree Boyd, Curtis Boyd, Florence Hargrove and Everlean Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Boyd; his children, Mataw Boyd, Jr., Kevin Boyd, Alphonso Boyd, Florence Owens-Lomax, Mary Boyd, Tomeka Mattews, Tia Boyd, Tiffany Boyd and Tonia Gray; and his siblings, Nathaniel Boyd, James Boyd and Christine Jackson. He is also survived by other loving relatives and caring friends.
