We bid farewell to Darryl E. Cheeves (District Heights, Maryland), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 17, 2025 at the age of 72. Darryl touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Cheeves Jr. and Marian Cheeves; his sons, Kevin and Darryl Jr.; and his siblings, Dernice Atkins, April Cheeves and Louis Craig Cheeves.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Spriggs; his children, Tellisa (Jock), Lakisha, Mia and Kia (Mark); his stepdaughters, Alicia and Angela; his brother Ronald Cheeves; his niece Kiona Graham (Michael); and his nephew Kyle Cheeves. He is also survived by his grandchildren and step-grandchildren; his great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Pope Funeral Home Forestville Chapel (5538 Marlboro Pike, District Heights, MD 20747). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
