She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis W. Alton Sr. and Maude V. Wilson Chase; her stepfather William Chase Jr.; and her siblings, Louis W. Alton Jr., Dermont Chase Sr. and Jennifer Alton-White.
She is survived by: her husband James Baker; her son Marco Baker (Latoya); her granddaughter Sophia Baker; her brothers, David Alton (Vera) and Alexander Chase; her nieces and nephews, Janean Perry, Adrienne Gray, Quiana Alton-Preston, Dermont Chase Jr. and Michael Johnson; and her friends, Betty Thompson and Dolly Lee Craft. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
