It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Burdette of Dickerson, Maryland, who passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Barton and Gladys Barton. She is survived by: her husband William C. Burdette Jr. Mary; her brother Aubrey Barton (Betty); and her children, Sue Vasquez (Leo), Jeff Burdette (Sandra) and Cindi Hawfield (Robert). She is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts can be sent to Wounded Warriors, Shriners Hospital or Hospice of Frederick County.
