We bid farewell to Richard Voigt (Derwood, Maryland), born in Brooklyn, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 27, 2024 at the age of 80. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dorothy Voigt and Gottfried Voigt (Fred); his wife Loretto; his children, Gregory (Kellye), Trudy (Gerry), Tracy (Angel) and Eric; and his grandchildren, Jack, Gabriel, Eva, Luke, Celia, Matthew, Claire, Ben and Eleanor. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (6701 Muncaster Mill Rd, Derwood, MD 20855). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
