He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Inek Lashay Dove; his parents, Ted Franklin and Linda May James; his children, Melissa Jones, Stephanie Dove, Johnny Dove, Jr. (Jay Jay), Amber Morton, Jodi Morton and David Morton, Jr. (Boo); his siblings, Sandra Cross, Crystal Thomas, Ginger Delph, Karen Delph, Teddy Dove, Jr., Charles Delph, III (Toby) and Robert Delph (Robbie); his grandchildren, Ciara, Aryana, Natalia, Johnny III (LJ), Jaelyn, Jada, Brice, Makenzie, Aubriella, Bentley, Braelyn and Brynleigh; and his close friend Gunner. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
