We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2021, at the age of 66, Gordon Thomas Childers of Derwood, Maryland, born in Centralia, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ellen Childers; and his parents, John Wayne Childers and Juanita Greco. He is survived by: his children, John Childers, Craig Childers (Erin) and Brittany Nichols (Scott); his grandchildren, Maddie Childers, Abby Childers, Mary Kate Childers, Lily Childers, Liam Childers, Keith Nichols, Austin Nichols and Alanna Nichols; and his siblings, Cindy (Rob), Alex (Hilda) and Esta (Doug).
In lieu of flowers, Gordon's family would appreciate memorial contributions to his favorite charities: The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals http://www.aspca.org or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
