She was predeceased by: her mother Bernice Collins; her husband William Shorts Sr.; her daughter Stacy Redcliffe; and her grandson Kevin Shorts. She is survived by: her children, Steven E. Redcliffe, William Shorts, Jr., Ruthann Scudder, Velda Wieczorek and Missy Shorts; her father Orbin Collins; and her siblings, Austin Collins, Floyd Collins, Donald Collins, Cindy Hamilton and Bonnie Jefferson. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
