She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Freer and Ardis Russell Freer; and her husband Jim Sherman. She is survived by : her children, Amy Bauer (Keith) of Denton, MD and John Sherman of Pittsburgh, PA; her grandsons, Tyler Bauer of Denton, MD and Ryan Bauer of Denton, MD; and her brother Roger Freer (Gerrie).
