He is survived by: his children, Chernika Young, Jamar and Samuel, Jr.; his children-in-law, Andrea (Jamar), Kristi (Samuel, Jr.) and Ivan (Chernika); his grandchildren, Isaiah, Kayla (Chernika), Marja, Andre, Amanda, Alexander, Adriana (Jamar), Samerra, Aayden and Avery (Samuel, Jr.); and his siblings, Deborah (late Michael), Dennis (Bernice), David, Phyllis, Esther (Joseph), John and Nichols. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
