Roxanna Merriken Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roxanna Merriken of Denton, Maryland, born in Easton, Maryland, who passed away on March 19, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Michael Detwiler, Sr. and Mary Frances Taylor Detwiler; her husband James W. Merriken; and her siblings, Hannah Reed, Henry Detwiler, Charles Detwiler and William F. Detwiler.
She is survived by: her sister Elizabeth "Beeza" Rutter of Newark, DE; her stepchildren, James W. Merriken, Jr. (Jay) and Gayle Muir (Howard) of Denton; and her nieces, Frances, Nancy, Sheretta, Ariana, Bronte, Sheila, Krystal, Sheree, Susan and Jane. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
