She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Rich and Mary Brooks Rich; her husband Walter O. Ringgold, Sr.; her son Keith Rich; her great grandchild Tyjaye Mosley-Harris; and her siblings, William Rich, Elwood Rich, George Acree, Lucille Rich, Dorothy Johnson and Quintella Emory.
She is survived by: her friend Willia; her children, Tony Rich (Sandy), Anthony Rich (Dalzell), Gregory Ringgold (Shirley), Ronald Ringgold, Rodney Ringgold (Treena), Roland Ringgold (Lisa), Dean Ringgold (Olivia), Michael Ringgold (Crystal), Antoinette Rich, Donna Ringgold (Ralph), Denise Simpson and Michele Ringgold; and her friend Deborah Sharp. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild.
