The memory of Naomi Octavia Thomas (Denton, Maryland), who passed away on February 7, 2025 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wayman and Mildred Wayman; her siblings, Hazel Dunning, Henry Wayman and Richard Wayman; and her grandson Edward Garfield Minus III.
She is survived by: her friends, Althea Tilghman, Doretha Coursey and Joyce Flamer; her children, Lisa Rene Minus (Eddie) and James Thomas Jr. (Cynthia); her brother Leon Wayman (Ann); and her grandchildren, Summer Thomas and James Thomas III. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of the Nazarene- Denton (10660 Greensboro Rd, Denton, MD 21629). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
