With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Edward Cassidy of Denton, Maryland, born in Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on July 30, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Lewis Cassidy and Marie Elizabeth Hannus Cassidy; and his former wife Elizabeth Fountain Cassidy. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Duggan Cassidy of Denton; his sons, Brian Cassidy (Lucy Lewis) of Cambridge, MD, John Cassidy (Amanda) of Denton and David Cassidy of Astoria, NY; his stepson Colin Durner (Alecia) of Ft. Mill, SC; his siblings, Marcia Prichard (Robert) of Alexandria, VA, Nancy Connell (Chris) of Alexandria, VA, Laura Cassidy, John W. Cassidy (Sue) of St. Petersburg, FL and Michael Cassidy (Karen) of Belchertown, MA; his grandchildren, Jesse, Vincent and Grace; and his stepgrandchildren, Emerson and Theodore. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
