He was predeceased by: his father John D. West, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Catherine Jenkins; his children, Christopher of Denton, MD, Jonathan of Denton, MD and Shelby of Denton, MD; his half-sister Jessica; and his grandson Bryson Carter.
